With the cry, “Enough with femicide, enough with impunity, not one less woman, not one more woman murdered!,” Centro Hemisférico participated in a political performance in collaboration with the Lesbian, Feminist, Autonomous Collective LESBrujas and the International Women’s March in Chiapas on November 25, 2010 to commemorate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Via a pronouncement (included in this posting), the participants declared, “We manifest our feminist solidarity with all women around the world who are fighting for the structural transformation of this system that oppresses and subordinates us. We celebrate the resistance being constructed every day in which we as women resignify and rethink solidarity and sisterhood as we position ourselves as political subjects. Today more than ever we affirm that we will continue marching until all of us are free.”
